Re: The Zapped Giants Open - 21st March
No, I think this is a geographical issue rather than the Scots sucking at sports.
I think the sucking at sports is a more of a U.K. combined effort anyway...why should the Scots or the Welsh or even the Irish get all the credit.

Its not the winning, but the taking part that counts.

Isotope = Thank you. Mr. E = This is why you can complain. Where else in the world to you have to travel quite so far relative to what you're normal journey time it. Rob = Indeed. I probably wouldn't count as a scottish male baby. Everyone after that = remember that Monty Python have an entire episode centrered around the fact the Scotland is the worst tennis playing nation in the world. Hold on...

Does anyone have a map or web link to the draft venue? Googling 'centrepoint Milton Keynes' brings up no useful information. [edit] No! I will find it myself: http://shadowgamestournaments.webs.com/ ... ection.htm

Re: The Zapped Giants Open - 21st March
Lo all, I think this maybe the third post I've made so far, so here goes! Got myself and four other lads coming across for this, we're all pretty new to the game so this will be our first big event fer WoW TCG, coming to see what the top tier get up to! Read the start time, but also saw that Rob mentioned keeping registration open til 10ish, hoping to gun it and get there way before that, but I'll get the guys to write up there lists in the car to save time (feel like a teacher!) Awesome, hope to see some great games, cheers! Fiddlestix

* Except Scots, but they can complain about bloody anywhere. I don't think we complain all that much. Certainly never against Manchester. Birmingham is perfectly acceptable as many people like to mention over and over again. Saturday would have made things a lot easier too.

Re: The Zapped Giants Open - 21st March
I suggest all tournaments are now hosted on a Zeppelin. It will arrive over Northern Scotland at 6am, making its way to London by 9. The tournament itself will be played while we hover over Scandinavia. Parachutes will be provided for a small fee.
Also: Strawdonkey.....your map now means I know there's a Cineworld nearby *looks at Cineworld Unlimited card* ...I think that's my evening sorted then. Avatar or Alice 2d ....hmmmm....

Re: The Zapped Giants Open - 21st March
Almost anything on a Saturday is better than a Sunday. We've about 10 people travelling from Wales to MK, if this was Manchester on a Sunday there'd be about none.
