Post Realm Championship Season 5 Date & Location Announced!
Starting behind the desk at Tomy today, Rob Hooley was able to immediately give us all the information we need for the Season 5 Realm Championship Finals!

Date: Sunday 21st March

Location:

Jury’s Inn,
Midsummer Boulevard,
Milton Keynes,
MK9 2HP

Rooms at the hotel are currently £49 per night, and about £5 more if you include breakfast (£5 per person). Probably worthwhile staying there with breakfast for the full day's gaming to follow!

See you all then!

need to start seeing start times as the first train from manc gets in at 10:15 on the day so that could be pushing the start a little

It'll probably start between 9 and 10, like all the others.

Realistically, people will have to get a hotel the night before I think.

As usually I will be staying at a Holiday Inn. I have not decided which one.

For 2 nights (sat night + sun night )
Holiday Inn £69 per room ( 2 single beds )
Holiday Inn Express £55 ( 1 double + 1 sofa bed )

Prices are for both nights.

And The Express includes continental as usual.

Again anyone intrested PM me.

I only started playing a couple of weeks ago so you'll have to excuse me if this is a bit of a dumb question, who can attend this event? Can I just roll up on the day and play?

There's two events in one, essentially:

- Realm Championship
- Realm Open

To play in the Realm Championship, you need to have amassed ten points from playing in Realm Qualifiers throughout the qualifier season. We're about halfway through the season at the moment, and there's a list of places and dates you can qualify at somewhere on this board.

The Realm Open is a 'turn up and play' event. Bring a deck and you're away.

Both events are in Core format, info about which can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=2179

I played in the Realm Open last season, I think there were 15 entrants in the end. I did utterly miserably but still had a great time.

Is that a rhetorical question?
