The World of Warcraft Trading Card Game's seventeenth set, Crown of the Heavens, is released today!

Take a trip down to your local store to pick up your packs - this set has arrived in the UK on time, I've heard reports from store owners that they have the product in hand so get cracking those Miniature Voodoo Masks....

As per above, due to the unavailability of a venue the Ipswich qualifier tomorrow has been cancelled. Sorry for the short notice but I only just found out.

The last shifts have been done. I'll edit the original list once when I find the time (working 75 hours this week as part of my PGCE interview process), but we now have:

Jumanji (Bath) Sunday 26 February (Core) *NEW*

Jumanji (Bath) Sunday 25 March (Sealed) *SHIFT* (clashed with Rules of Play)

I also typod The Games Shop (Aldershot) in the previous update, it's actually the 5th of February (a Sunday, not Saturday).

As another season of carols and Winterveil Disguise Kits draws to a close, I thought it might be fun to look back at the year’s gaming and product and hand out some awards. You know the sorts of things: Player of the Year, Team of the Year, Deck of the Year, Best Foreign Film etc etc. A nice, light-hearted but perhaps informative close to what has been a year nobody thought our precious game would survive intact.

Perhaps the biggest event of the year was the shake-up of the Core format, if only...
